Course Description/Meeting Summary:

The ESE Behavior, Curriculum and Instruction team is offering a new one day training for new and experienced ESE Paraprofessionals. This training titled "Supporting the Instructional Process" is designed to familiarize paraprofessionals with instructional strategies and techniques for developing student independence. ESE Paraprofessionals that support students in both the general education and ESE classrooms will benefit with the information. Topics for the day will include: • Factors that promote learning • Stages of learning • Natural supports and consequences • Instructional strategies

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

The time and location of Supporting the Instructional Process is 8:30 am - 3:00 pm at the Fort Gatlin Administrative Center, room#214, Orlando FL 32806, Wednesday, March 25th. There is a 15 minute policy. This means you cannot be more than 15 minutes late at the beginning, returning from lunch, or leaving early. This results in no admittance.

 

If you are no longer planning on attending this course, please remove yourself to allow space for others to attend.

 

In the event that there are less than 10 participants signed up, this course will be cancelled on (date 72 hours prior to course date). You will receive an email if this occurs.
