Five Star School Award Coordinator manages the school's nomination application and portfolio submission for this award that recognizes schools that have exceptional community involvement in areas such as, school volunteers, business partnershipsfamily involvementschool advisory councils, and student community service

Schools receiving this award must have a school grade of a "C" or above. The purpose of this program is to provide a yardstick for schools to use as an annual self-analysis of their level of community involvement. 

OCPS is required to verify schools meet the Five Star School requirements describe in the nomination form and the portfolio submission templates. Registering for this session will grant you a nomination and portfolio review for your school.
