Course Description/Meeting Summary:
Participants will be able to create a repeatable and systematic process that will provide concrete documentation for Reading Accommodations to be used for IEP meetings and be able to apply evidence-based practices. Participants will learn how to access and administer the uPAR (Universal Protocol for Accommodations in Reading) to make data-based decisions about selecting a suitable reading accommodation for struggling readers. Digital tools and strategies that provide classroom and testing reading accommodations will be presented.
