Full Description/Meeting Details:

The course entitled, "GIFTED ENDORSEMENT: Education of Special Populations of Gifted Learners satisfies one (1) of the five (5) requirements for gifted endorsement.  Nature and Needs of the Gifted is a prerequisite course for endorsement and should be taken before this course or any other classes in the series.  The Target Audience for this course is teachers seeking Gifted Endorsement. Early registration is strongly suggested since these classes fill quickly. Your registration is not complete until you have paid the 130.00 registration fee.  

·         Endorsement courses consist of 60 hours of work. 30 hours are considered "homework", with assignments to be completed between class sessions. 30 hours are considered in-class "seat time".  

·         During online and hybrid courses, the 30 hours of “seat time” will occur within advertised class times and will consist of both synchronous and asynchronous tasks, collaboration with classmates, and independent study. Participation in "seat time" activities will be documented for auditing purposes.

·         Please Note: Attendance is required for ALL class sessions in their entirety.
