Course Description/Meeting Summary:

This is a full day session presented through Microsoft Teams. Gamification is a strategy long used by teachers. Digital resources make creating, presenting and monitoring gamified activities even more accessible and timely. At the end of the session participants will return to their schools with gamified activities that support the needs of all students, including ESE and ELL learners.

Featured tools may include:

  • Google Forms

  • Google Slides

 

Tips to get the most out of this day long workshop:

 

  • Arrange for a substitute in advance. Funds for substitutes will be made available after completion of the workshop.

  • Set up in a quiet location where you will not be disturbed.

  • Microphone and headset are required.

  • Having two screens is very beneficial as it allows participants to view the presentation on one screen while engaging in hands-on activities on another.
