PMA Administration

The PMAs were created in a partnership between Test Development and Measurement, the district’s curriculum team, and classroom teachers using a facilitated process. The data these activities provide help teachers monitor how well students learn the standards presented during the school year, and determine where remediation or intervention might be necessary prior to the administration of state assessments.   

The PMAs are intended to serve as an instructional tool for teachers and instructional leaders. The activities themselves are one part of a comprehensive system that provides information that can be used to inform instruction.
