Course Description/Meeting Summary:

The Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art is presenting a professional development workshop for A Gift for Teaching. Attending teachers will receive curriculum units and create artwork related to the Museum’s collection. The Morse will be presenting the following:•Video—A look at Aestheticism.•Presentation and Activity—The tradition of Kimekomi and makingKimekomi collage pumpkins. Who: OCPS K-12 Art Teachers, Date: Wednesday, October 20, 2021, Location: Online (Zoom), Time: 2:30 pm – 4:00 pm. A reflection assignment will be provided at the end of the workshop and is necessary in order to meet the minimum 3-hour requirement. This opportunity is limited to 25 participants.
