Course Description/Meeting Summary:

The training participants will learn a framework for supporting their school and students who have a background of trauma. They will do this by understanding how the brain is impacted by traumatic stress and how to support students in building self-regulation skills. By the end of the training, participants will be able to define trauma and identify strategies to use in the classroom that help students develop self-regulation skills.This training is intended for SCHOOL COUNSELORS.
