Course Description/Meeting Summary:

This training is specific for teachers that have a foundational knowledge of the Access Points and have previously taken Access Points 1.0. Access Points 2.0 will digger deeper and move to the next steps with the teaching and learning of Access Points. Teachers will work with the CRMs and Unit and Daily Lesson Planning Guides for ELA and Math Access Points and also the NGSSS Access Points for Science and Social Studies.

Access Points 2.0 will digger deeper and move to the next steps with the teaching and learning of Access Points. Teachers will work with the CRMs and Unit and Daily Lesson Planning Guides for ELA and Math Access Points and also the NGSSS Access Points for Science and Social Studies.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

o    If you are no longer planning on attending this course, please remove yourself to allow space for others to attend.

o    In the event that there are less than 10 participants signed up, this course will be cancelled on (date 72 hours prior to course date). You will receive an email if this occurs.

o    The time and location of the Access Point PD 2.0 training is 8:30-3:30 at the Ft. Gatlin Administrative Center 3909 S.Summerlin Ave, Orlando, FL 32806 March 24.There is a 15 minute policy. This means you cannot be more than 15 minutes late at the beginning, returning from lunch, or leaving early. This results in no admittance. If you cannot stay for the duration of the PD, please remove yourself from the course.

o    If you are not a general ed or ESE teacher supporting students working on Access Points, which is the intended audience for the course as described in Canvas, please remove yourself as you will not be admitted to the course.

o    Bring a fully charged laptop for access to the internet.
