Course Description/Meeting Summary:
Tuesday, October 26, 2021 8:15am-2:45pm Frontline Outreach 3000 C.R. Smith Street Orlando, FL 32805 Park on the east side of the building closest to John Young Parkway. Learn how to implement the United States Tennis Association's Net Generation curriculum and pickleball skills. Free tennis equipment will be available for all schools represented at the training.

Full Description/Meeting Details:
Tuesday, October 26, 2021. Registration will occur from 7:45am-8:15am. The training will be held from 8:15am - 2:45pm.
Teachers must request Temporary Duty Leave via myOCPS and schedule a substitute teacher according to school procedures. Please add this verbiage to your substitute teacher request: "Grant funding will be used to reimburse substitute teacher costs for physical education teachers and paraprofessionals who teach at traditional OCPS schools."
During the United States Tennis Association training, participants will learn how to implement the Net Generation world-class curriculum and get access to free tennis equipment for schools. In addition, each school will receive Eye Coach equipment that allows students to train their brains to focus on the last three feet before striking an object. The Greater Orlando Pickleball Club – GO Pickleball – will teach the sport of pickleball during the afternoon session.
Lunch will occur at ~11:15 am and last for 45 minutes so we can reset the courts for Pickleball.
Please bring water. Dress to participate!
