The training will be held in the Pershing School gym at 1800 E. Pershing Ave., Orlando, FL 32806. A virtual online training must be completed prior to the in-person training.

Registration will be from 7:45-8 am. The training will be held from 8 am-2 pm.

Your school is responsible for the costs of the substitute teacher. Please bring your lunch. Participants must stay for the entire training to be certified through the NASP-BAI.

Teachers will learn safety procedures necessary to teach archery content and skills to students. Appropriate physical education standards will be identified and addressed. The training will be hands-on and will culminate in a written test. Teachers who successfully complete the training will be issued certificates that are acknowledged in the US and Canada.

To remain certified, teachers must teach at least one class every 18 months.
