Course Description/Meeting Summary:

This session is intended for secondary school APIs, one designated administrator, and guidance counselors responsible for maintaining grades, GPAs, report cards, and class ranks at their school site. Makeup/Refresher sessions are offered for schools to register for any missed training sessions. New school staff, along with anyone who needs a refresher can also attend these makeup sessions.

Full Description/Meeting Details:

The Skyward Grading Secondary training is intended for secondary school APIs, one designated administrator, and guidance counselors responsible for maintaining grades, GPA, report cards, and class ranks at their school site. In this training, participants will learn how to:

• Maintain students' current and historical grading information
• Maintain grade setup, grade entry, report cards, grade reporting, grade history, class ranks, and transcripts

It is highly recommended to download or print training documents prior to attending the training session.  

The Skyward Basics Course must be complete prior to the participant’s first face-to-face training. Users can access the Skyward Basics Course by clicking here. This course will provide each participant with the necessary background knowledge of the functionality and navigation within the system.

Participants will need to bring laptops and chargers. In addition, participants will need to bring samples of completed discipline referrals.

The Skyward Teaching and Learning Training Site is located at 3607 Damon Rd, Apopka, FL 32703. Upon arrival, participants are required to check in at the front office for exact training room location. Doors open at 8am.

Please note there is a Pepsi product vending machine, refrigerators to store lunch, and microwaves available for use on site.
