Course Description/Meeting Summary:

The Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art is presenting a professional development workshop for A Gift for Teaching. Attending teachers will receive curriculum units and create artwork related to the Museum’s collection. The Morse will be presenting the following: • Video—A look at prints and illustrations from the Morse collection • Presentation and Activity—Drypoint engraving using digital image references and self-made engraving tools. Who: OCPS 6-12 Art Teachers Date: Friday, January 21, 2022 Location: Online (Zoom) Time: 3:30 pm – 5:00 pm A reflection assignment will be provided at the end of the workshop. This assignment has a deadline and is necessary in order to meet the minimum 3-hour requirement. This opportunity is limited to 25 participants.
