Course Description/Meeting Summary:
Level: Elementary • McKean Pavilion, 161 West Canton Avenue, Winter Park (just behind the Museum) • Saturday,January 31, 2026 from 10:00 am-12:00 p.m. Teachers will explore the complex and unique textures of Tiffany art glass as well as learn how writing was not only a vital method of communication for 19th and 20th century Americans, but an important form of artistic self-expression. During workshops, teachers tour selected galleries, learn background knowledge for each lesson, create one lesson’s artwork, and receive curriculum units with complimentary presentations.

Join us for the second Morse Museum workshop this year!
- Who: K-12 Visual Art Educators
- Where: McKean Pavilion, 161 West Canton Avenue, Winter Park (just behind the Morse Museum)
- When: Saturday, January 31, 2026 from 10:00 am–12:00 p.m.
- Space is limited to 25 participants.
Art educators of kindergarteners through 12th graders will participate in highlights from both elementary (Tiffany Art Glass Textures) and secondary (Arts and Letters) professional development workshops. Teachers will explore the complex and unique textures of Tiffany art glass as well as learn how writing was not only a vital method of communication for 19th and 20th century Americans, but an important form of artistic self-expression. During workshops, teachers tour selected galleries, learn background knowledge for each lesson, create one lesson’s artwork, and receive curriculum units with complimentary presentations.
