Course Description/Meeting Summary:

This face-to-face day in the computer lab will feature SMART resources. SMART is more than the whiteboard, it is a platform that provides tools for engaging activities, collaborative work spaces and in the moment formative assessments. The day will start with an introduction to the SMART panel, Notebook and SMART Learning Suite Online. The afternoon will provide participants with the opportunity to dig deeper into the tools that will have the most impact on their own instructional roles.

The day will start with an introduction to the SMART panel, Notebook and SMART Learning Suite Online.  The afternoon will provide participants with the opportunity to dig deeper into the tools that will have the most impact on their own instructional roles. 

Tips to get the most of the day:

• Allow travel time and time to enter the parking garage.

• Bring your OCPS ID badge so that you enter the garage. Park on the 5th level.

• Half Moon Cafe has opened on the first floor. Please pack a lunch or enjoy a freshly made meal in our new cafe.

• Questions are welcomed!

• This is a hands on session in the 5th floor Lab A - engaging in the activities will give participants greater value of their day.

• If you are unable to attend, please withdraw from the course so that another may have the spot.
