Build on literacy by making connections between art and books! A native of Xalapa, Mexico, Yuji Morales is an award-winning author and illustrator of children's picture books. Join us for a private tour of Sonadora: Yuji Morales with Molly Lawson, Associate Curator of Community Engagement, followed by a studio art project led by Patricia Cavazos, Central Florida artist, and teacher.

Build on literacy by making connections between art and books! A native of Xalapa, Mexico, Yuji Morales is an award-winning author and illustrator of children's picture books.

Join us for a private tour of Sonadora: Yuji Morales with Molly Lawson, Associate Curator of Community Engagement, followed by a studio art project led by Patricia Cavazos, Central Florida artist, and teacher. 

The additional reflection is required to receive the full 3-hour workshop credit and can be completed with a one-page reflection on your experience at the museum. Submissions will be made through Canvas.
