The Florida Alternate Assessment (FAA) Performance Task administration training is required by the FLDOE for all teachers administering the FAA - Performance Task in the Spring of 2026, if they did not attend F2F training during the 2023-2024 or 2024-25 school years. Full Description/Meeting Details:
This training is for all teachers of students instructed in Access Points that meet the criteria to participate in an alternate assessment and will be taking Florida Alternate Assessment (FAA) - Performance Task in the spring of 2026, if the teacher did not attend F2F training during the 2023-24 or 2024-25 school years. These teachers are required to attend an all-day face-to-face training provided by a district trainer on administration procedures (and complete Module 4). The FAA - Performance Task, including EOCs, will be administered in the spring of 2026 to students working on Access Points in assessed courses, grades 3-12. FAA-PT is aligned with Florida’s B.E.S.T. Access Points for English Language Arts and Mathematics and the Florida Standards Access Points for Science, M/J Civics and High School US History. Teachers will receive FAA - Performance Task practice materials to use with their students after participating in the training. This course will take place at Baldwin Park Elementary P-10 (1750 Common Way Rd., Orlando 32814) in Portable 10, from 8:30-3:30. Plan to arrive early to allow for traffic, parking and walking in before the prompt start time of 8:30. If you cannot participate in the entire training, please sign up for a different date, when arrangements can be made to stay for the entire training.
There is a 15-minute policy. This means you cannot be more than 15 minutes late at the beginning, lunch or breaks, or leaving early. This results in no admittance. If you cannot stay for the entire duration of the PD, please remove yourself from the course.
Please cancel your registration if you are no longer able to attend this training so that participants on the Wait List can be added to the class.
Classes may be collapsed/combined due to low enrollment. Additional classes may be opened when/if we reach capacity in those already posted.
