Course Description/Meeting Summary:
This training is specific for teachers that are new to the instruction of Access Points. Administrators and other support staff that work with students with a significant cognitive disability are also encouraged to attend. Teachers will learn about the ELA and Math Access Points and the Essential Understandings (EUs) that unpack the Access Points to assist in the teaching and learning of the standards. Information and resources will also be provided regarding the NGSSS Science and Social Studies Access Points and the new B.E.S.T standards. Teachers will learn how to find and use a number of valuable resources designed to assist in the teaching and learning of Access Points.

This course will take place at Kaley ESE Center Media Center, from 8:30-3:30.
