Ready for takeoff in your ability to impact students with significant cognitive disabilities? Following the successful journey from Access to Rigor; Flight Path is the next leg in the Access Points series, designed to elevate your skills even further. This advanced session will pilot you to expert heights in effective instruction. You'll gain mastery of systematic instructional methods and evidence-based prompting strategies. Chart a course to deeper understanding of essential techniques for teaching specific, measurable responses – from single maneuvers to complex flight patterns – using defined methods of prompting, feedback, instructional format, task analysis, and repeated practice.

This advanced session will pilot you to expert heights in effective instruction. You'll gain mastery of systematic instructional methods and evidence-based prompting strategies. Chart a course to deeper understanding of essential techniques for teaching specific, measurable responses – from single maneuvers to complex flight patterns – using defined methods of prompting, feedback, instructional format, task analysis, and repeated practice. Please bring your Adapting Unstoppable Learning book and a fully charged navigation device (laptop) for active participation. This training will be held on 1/27/26 from 8:30am-3:30pm in Portable 9 at Baldwin ES.

• Reminders:
  • The training portables are at the far back left hand side of the parking lot and you do not need to go through the front office.
  • If you are no longer planning on completing this course, please remove yourself to allow space for others to attend. Click here for instructions on how to remove yourself.
  • Please bring a fully charged laptop
  • In the event that there are less than 5 participants signed up, this course will be canceled within 72 hours. You will receive an email if this occurs.
  • There is a 15 minute policy. This means you cannot be more than 15 minutes late at the beginning, returning from lunch, or leaving early for face to face sessions. This results in no admittance. If you cannot stay for the duration of the PL, please remove yourself from the course.
