Full Description/Meeting Details:

This course was designed to give participants an overview of the characteristics of students with Emotional Behavioral Disabilities and students with Autism Spectrum Disorder.  Appropriate interventions for these students will be introduced.  Essential elements for a successful EBD and ASD classroom will be outlined. 

To be successful in this course please note: 

  • This is a self-paced course.  We recommend completing the course over multiple days.
  • The course takes about 4 hours to complete. 
  • 4 hours of ESE in-service points to be used for recertification will be awarded once a certificate is obtained. 
  • This course will end on June 30, 2025.  
  • The course will generate a certificate once all criteria have been met. In order to meet this requirement, you also need to complete the PD Evaluation form at the end of the course. This form is not visible until all modules are complete. It will appear after the last module in the course.
