Course Description/Meeting Summary:

This professional development empowers educators to effectively integrate Assistive Technology (AT) for inclusive curriculum access. Participants will learn a structured AT consideration process, understand legal mandates for AT in IEPs, explore unique accommodation strategies, and discover practical tools to support curriculum access. Through case studies, hands-on activities, and exploration of software and hardware solutions, educators will gain the skills to personalize learning and ensure all students can fully participate in the curriculum. The target audience is for teachers with students on General Education Standards.

This is a full day training from 8:30am-3:30pm at the Kaley Professional Development Center, 1600 E. Kaley Ave Orlando, 32806 in the Media Center.
