Full Description/Meeting Details:

This session is designed for teachers K-12 who work with students with autism. Whether you are a new teacher getting ready to get started in your classroom or a veteran teacher looking to try something new. Participants will learn how to organize environments and plan appropriately by utilizing the TEACCH Structured Teaching method to support their classroom's structure, schedules, visuals, and data.

This is a face-to-face training that will meet on October 25, 2021, from 8:30 to 3:30 at Kaley Professional Development Center (1600 East Kaley Street) in Room 14.

Please park in the grass lot off Harding Street. If you are coming from the intersection of Kaley and Ferncreek, you will turn left onto Harding and the entrance to the field will be on your left. Please park in rows. You may NOT park in the paved lot in front of Kaley.

After parking, follow the sidewalk that goes to the left and enters through the gates. Please bring your district/school-issued identification badge with you. The rooms at Kaley can get cold at times so you may want to bring a sweater. In addition, there are vending machines on campus but feel free to bring snacks and drinks.
