Discover the power of using visual supports for students with autism and other related disabilities to help you and your students be successful each day in your classroom. Explore a wide variety of resources and create some to take with you!

Full Description/Meeting Details:
A picture is worth a thousand words! This workshop provides practical ideas and strategies to enhance communication interactions for students with intellectual and communicative challenges. Use of visual supports leads to increased student participation and independence. Supports for communication, self-regulation, and classroom participation will be demonstrated. A “scavenger hunt” will provide an opportunity to explore over a hundred samples and resources. During the resource development portion of the workshop, participants will have an opportunity to create materials for immediate classroom use.
Target audience: InD, VE, & ASD Teachers, SLPs, Paraprofessionals, Parents, & Behavior Specialists.
