Full Description/Meeting Details:
Teams meetings will be held from 10:00am - 12:00pm on June 1, 8, 12, 17 and 10:00am - 1:00pm on June 22, 2026.
This course satisfies one (1) of the requirements for gifted endorsement certification. Nature and Needs of the Gifted is the introductory course for endorsement and must be taken before other classes in the series. A total of five (5) graduate-level courses are required to complete the Florida endorsement in Gifted Education and are offered collaboratively by FDLRS/Action and Orange County Public Schools. Please Note: This class is online for six weeks. You will have checkpoints during the course where you will be dropped if work hasn't been completed and/or revised. The use of AI to complete tasks is prohibited and participants may be removed from the course for using it. Your registration IS NOT CONFIRMED UNTIL FEE PAYMENT of $130 HAS BEEN RECEIVED. All payment must be made by noon on Wednesday, April 29, 2026 through SchoolPay at https://www.schoolpay.com/link/CreativitySummer2026. If you do not pay the fee by this time you will be dropped from the course to allow others to enroll. Participants may take and successfully complete one course at a time without overlap.
