Course Description/Meeting Summary:

This course is currently only available for school-based employees. YMHFA is an educational program that familiarizes participants with the unique risk factors and warning signs of mental health problems in adolescents. YMHFA stresses the importance of early intervention and teaches individuals how to assist an adolescent who is in crisis or experiencing a mental health challenge.

Full Description/Meeting Details:

This is a six-hour,face to face course, and there is required pre-work ( about 20 minutes), that needs to be completed before you attend the course. A link to the pre-work will be sent to you from your instructors. The training time is 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and it will be located at 3130 Edgewater Drive Orlando, Florida 32804. (Exceptional Education Administrative Building suite 102). This is state mandated course.
