Full Description/Meeting Details:

The Skyward Secondary Current Year Scheduling training is intended for Secondary School APIs, one designated administrator backup, and Counselors responsible for student scheduling at their school site.

In this training, participants will learn how to:

• Maintain existing student schedules
• Create new student schedules for the current year
• Schedule CTE classes and dual enrollment classes
• Utilize the Walk-in Scheduling feature
• Run Current Year Scheduling reports and utilities

It is highly recommended to download or print training documents prior to attending the training session.  

The Skyward Basics Course must be complete prior to the participant’s first face-to-face training. Users can access the Skyward Basics Course by clicking here. This course will provide each participant with the necessary background knowledge of the functionality and navigation within the system.

Participants needing additional security access other than their assigned default permissions will need to have the additional security access completed by their school principal at least 2 weeks before the training. Principals can refer to the Modifying Security – Principals course for further details.
