Course Description/Meeting Summary:
In this course, you will learn how an effective classroom management system can pave the way to engaging students in learning. Classroom management creates a set of expectations used in an organized classroom environment which includes rules, routines, and consequences. Throughout the course, you will expand your knowledge on concepts such as: rules & procedures, disciplinary interventions, student & teacher relationships, setting limits, surface management, and maintenance. In each module, you will review key content information and complete an activity to show mastery of content. After the completion of the course, you will incorporate the techniques & tools to build strong cohesive classroom management system in your classroom.

After the completion of the course, you will incorporate the techniques & tools to build strong cohesive classroom management system in your classroom.
To be successful in this course please note:
- This is a self-paced course. We recommend completing the course over multiple days.
- The course takes about 6 hours to complete.
- 6 hours of in-service points to be used for recertification will be awarded once a certificate is obtained. This course does not provide ESE credit.
- This course will end on June 30, 2025.
- The course will generate a certificate once all criteria have been met. In order to meet this requirement, you also need to complete the PD Evaluation form at the end of the course.
