Full Description/Meeting Details:
SLPs, ESE Teachers, Gen Ed Teachers, Behavior Specialists, Paraprofessionals, and other school staff will strengthen their ability to support students with complex communication and literacy needs. This professional learning opportunity will provide evidence-based strategies for integrating descriptive teaching and core vocabulary into daily instruction, while modeling language through AAC systems to foster expressive and receptive skills. Participants will explore practical approaches to shared reading that enhance comprehension and engagement, creating inclusive learning environments where all students can thrive.
