Course Description/Meeting Summary:
This session is designed for parents and staff who have students using the Proloquo2Go communication apps on the Apple iPad. Following an overview of iPad basics,participants will be introduced descriptive teaching with Aided Language modeling and core vocabulary, app features, and how to customize app for individual student needs. Training will include instruction on features such as vocabulary organization and appearance, programming, and editing student settings. Following an overview of iPad basics and OCPS policies/procedures, participants will be introduced to descriptive teaching method that includes researched-based strategies Aided Language modeling and Core Vocabulary, app features, and how to customize app to personalize for individual students. Training will include instruction on app features such as, vocabulary organization and appearance, programming, and editing student settings.
Participants are required to bring an iPad with app installed to this training.
