Full Description/Meeting Details:

The Skyward ESE training session is intended for ESE staffing specialist or LEA, and School Administrators responsible for data entry and reports at their school site.

In this training, participants will learn how to:

  • Maintain ESE data for students at their school such as student evaluations, reevaluations, and individual education plans/educational plans
  • Add an IEP/EP record to an existing ESE student
  • Process ESE reports

It is highly recommended to download or print training documents prior to attending the training session.  

The Skyward Basics Course must be complete prior to the participant’s first face-to-face training. Users can access the Skyward Basics Course by clicking here. This course will provide each participant with the necessary background knowledge of the functionality and navigation within the system.

Participants needing additional security access other than their assigned default permissions will need to have the additional security access completed by their school principal at least 2 weeks before the training. Principals can refer to the Modifying Security – Principals course for further details. 

Participants will need to bring laptops and chargers. 

The Skyward Teaching and Learning Training Site is located at 905 Waltham Ave, Orlando, FL 32809. Upon arrival, participants are required to check in at the auditorium for the exact training room location. Doors open at 8am.

Please note there is a Pepsi product vending machine, refrigerators to store lunch, and microwaves available for use on site.
