Full course description
This self-paced training will provide educators with a better understanding of resilience and self-care strategies to mitigate compassion fatigue, in order to better support the students we serve.
The aim of this training is to assist participants in:
•Identifying signs and symptoms of compassion fatigue, both personally and professionally
•Gaining an increased awareness and understanding of the impact of stress, burnout, and compassion fatigue on the comprehensive educational/academic environment
•Creating a professional self-care plan to support and improve effectiveness of current and future work with students impacted by stress, loss, and trauma.
