This course houses the latest information about ESTEEM Academy
ESTEEM Academy, offered through the Hospital Homebound program, is a temporary educational placement for students who cannot attend school due to psychiatric reasons. Our goal is to help students successfully transition back to their regular school environment. ESTEEM Academy supports students whose social-emotional and mental health needs create barriers to learning. Because this is an Exceptional Student Education (ESE) placement in a more restrictive setting, schools should first try interventions and supports at the zoned school before referring a student to ESTEEM.
