Full Description/Meeting Details:

This year, the district will implement the Course Planner feature in Xello to collect student course requests for the 2026–

27 school year. This process will be used with current 8th-grade students as they transition to high school. 

Counselors will be able to:

• View student course plans through their educator account

• Review and approve course selections

• Ensure students are on track to meet graduation requirements

• See planned courses for the upcoming year

• Monitor alerts related to student course plans

While middle school assistant principals of instruction (API) and school counselors will not use Course Planner for middle 

school course requests, it is important they understand how the feature works to support students and families as needed.
